VIRULE Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of VIRULE.
By downloading, installing, or using VIRULE, you agree to these Terms.
1. About VIRULE
VIRULE is a Windows application that provides tools for game developers and publishers, including game management, outreach campaigns, contact management, Steam key management, email integration, build packaging, and related functionality.
VIRULE is currently distributed as alpha software and remains under active development.
2. Your Data and Accounts
You are responsible for the information you enter into VIRULE and for maintaining appropriate backups of your locally stored VIRULE data.
If you connect a third-party account or service, including Google Gmail, you authorize VIRULE to use that connection only for the functionality you choose to enable.
You remain responsible for complying with the terms, policies, and rules of any third-party services you use through or alongside VIRULE.
3. Email and Outreach
VIRULE may allow you to send outreach email and track replies through accounts you connect.
You are responsible for:
- The recipients you contact
- The content of your messages
- Compliance with applicable email, privacy, marketing, and anti-spam laws
- Respecting recipient requests to stop receiving communications
VIRULE does not grant permission to contact any person who you are not otherwise entitled to contact.
4. Steam Keys and Other Access Credentials
VIRULE may store and manage Steam keys or other access credentials entered by the user.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority to distribute any keys, credentials, game builds, or other materials managed through VIRULE.
5. Game Builds and Packaging
VIRULE may create, package, wrap, modify, or manage copies of game builds at the user's direction.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right and authorization to process and distribute any executable, game build, asset, or other material you use with VIRULE.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use VIRULE to:
- Access accounts or information without authorization
- Distribute software, game builds, keys, or content you do not have the right to distribute
- Send unlawful spam or fraudulent communications
- Circumvent security protections without authorization
- Distribute malware or intentionally harmful software
- Violate applicable law or the rights of others
7. Alpha Software
VIRULE is currently alpha software.
Features may change, break, be removed, or behave unexpectedly. Compatibility with every game, computer, graphics environment, email provider, third-party service, or configuration is not guaranteed.
You should maintain independent copies and backups of important business data, game builds, Steam keys, contact information, and other records.
8. Third-Party Services
VIRULE may integrate with or link to third-party products and services.
VIRULE does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, policies, security, content, or changes.
Use of third-party services remains subject to the terms imposed by those providers.
9. Intellectual Property
VIRULE and its original software, branding, interfaces, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of VIRULE or its intellectual property to users.
Users retain ownership of their own games, content, business records, contacts, campaign materials, and other information entered into VIRULE.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
VIRULE is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.
No guarantee is made that VIRULE will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every environment, or free from data loss.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VIRULE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the software, including loss of data, revenue, business opportunities, game builds, keys, contacts, or communications.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Changes to VIRULE or These Terms
VIRULE may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued as development continues.
These Terms may also be updated when the product or its services change.
The effective date at the top of this page will identify the current version.
